The questions never stopped in this practitioner report of experiences from the front lines and recommendations for achieving success in complex, disparate systems.

Scott Koehler and Max Tyler have served as Enterprise Architects on many large Enterprise Application Integration projects in the financial services / insurance industry. Often many of the basic principles of Enterprise Architecture get lost in the throes of real projects staffed by real people. At this presentation they  discussed the essential principles of Enterprise Architecture that have served them well in real-world applications.

This was Scott Koehler's third appearance at COOUG.  He spoke here November 1997 and January 1994.  Max Tyler participated in COOUG's Information Exchange expert panel on Object Technology back in January 1995.
