This page outlines our Sponsorship Agreement for those companies interested in providing us with sustaining financial help.  We also have opportunities for companies who might want to provide other types of support.  This can be in the form of special speakers, books, prizes, donations, etc.

We currently have a distribution of 650 people in the Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York areas (with some individuals even further out).  Most of these are software development professionals who have taken the personal initiative to stay abreast of technology changes as they apply to business systems development.  See About COOUG for more details.

Typically we get "long term sponsors" to help us with our expenses. Such sponsors have a common interest in object technology and understand the benefits of being associated with a professional society.  If you are interested in becoming a full sponsor for the group, the cost is $2000 per year. What you will get in return is the following:

• Your company name will have a prominent position in the "upper right" of our web page.  Every visitor will see your name on every visit.
• We will maintain a hyperlink from our web site to yours.  Based on your desire, we will either link directly to you, or else we will provide one page on our site especially focused to our audience, which is in turn linked to your site.  For examples click on any of our sponsors.
• We will acknowledge your sustained sponsorship at every public meeting (currently held monthly except during the summer).
• We will tastefully distribute any information that you have at any and all of our public meetings.
• We will work with you to feature a special topic (where you would provide the speaker) related to strengths that your company provides in Object Technology.

The COOUG organization generally conducts a public meeting on the 2nd Tuesday evening of every month at The Hartford Insurance Company in downtown Hartford, CT.   Our Special Interest Groups meet at various sites around the Hartford area.  Check out our web site at http://www.cooug.org
