| What: The Business Rules (BR) SIG was created in May 2005 as a Special Interest Group of the CT. Object Oriented Users Group (COOUG). The target members of the BR SIG are a mixture of business and IT, since a business rules approach applies to both. Topics will vary to accommodate the target members, for beginners, for techies, for business, user stories, case studies, etc. |

| When: The BR SIG meetings are usually held once a month during the Spring and Fall. View Upcoming Events for the list and details for future meetings. View Previous Events for the list and details of previously held meetings as well as to view presentations from these meetings. There is usually a joint meeting with the COOUG Java Users Group sometime in the spring. To receive notices of future meetings via email, Join the Mailing List. |

| Where: The UCONN Health Center (UCHC) is our primary meeting location unless otherwise indicated in the meeting notice. For directions, view Meeting Location. Our thanks to UCHC for hosting the BR SIG meetings since September 2005. |

Who: The BR SIG, as a special interest group of COOUG, is run by volunteers. Currently, there are two co-chairpersons and an advisory board. For more details, view the Organization.

| Why: The BR SIG was established to provide a forum with a variety of business rules related topics that inform people, enhance their knowledge, and expand their horizons. |

| How: The BR SIG meetings are always FREE and made possible by our sponsors who provide food, beverage, and/or raffle prizes for a meeting. Thanks for their support! A marketing table is provided at each meeting for sponsors and other vendors. |
